The drawing is balanced because the objects are nearly equal due to size, colors and placement. The bird and the dog are near to the tree while the girl on the swing is a bit further. The high value and the warm, bright colors of the bird attract our eyes to the left side, but the bigger size of the girl and the red scarf lead our eyes again to the right side. This is called asymmetrical balance.

Some people think that symmetry is boring, but it adds some kind of comfort and relaxing to our eyes. Asymmetrical Balance https://www.pinterest.com/pin/361484307562235485/ On the left side of the drawing there are three small trees, while on the right side there is one big tree. This variation in size and placement created the since of asymmetrical balance. It makes the drawing more interesting and dynamic. Radial Balance https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rose_window_Richmond.jpg This picture represents radial balance. Every part or object in the picture radiate from one central point. It adds visual interest and sometimes it is used to lead your eyes to the center.

The picture represents many different types of texture. The wooden table seems to be tough and hard. The hand saw is sharp, pointy and glazed. The butterfly is soft, smooth, and silky. The natural light from the sun and the light contrast between colours added some brightness to the scene, which helped in showing the texture.
