Symmetrical Balance

This picture is symmetrical because the object on the left side is exactly as same as on the right side. Some people think that symmetry is boring, but it adds some kind of comfort and relaxing to our eyes.   


Asymmetrical Balance

On the left side of the drawing there are three small trees, while on the right side there is one big tree. This variation in size and placement created the since of asymmetrical balance. It makes the drawing more interesting and dynamic.


Radial Balance

This picture represents radial balance. Every part or object in the picture radiate from one central point. It adds visual interest and sometimes it is used to lead your eyes to the center.
